Press & Feedback
Although Television Obscurities has yet to be featured on television (as far as I know), I have been contacted by Variety, Entertainment Weekly and an NBC affiliate for help researching television. USA Today's website has showcased the site twice. And a slew of websites have featured Television Obscurities. Here's a taste of some of that press coverage:
The vast majority of feedback I recieve comes from everyday visitors who've stumbled upon the site. When I first started Television Obscurities I never imagined the sort of feedback I'd get from television fans. People with nothing but a vague memory of a television show they haven't seen in decades send me an e-mail hoping I can identify it. In some cases, I can't. But when I can, the response is amazing. It's nice to be able to help out while doing something I love.
"...great stuff!" Billy Ingram, TVParty!
"Keep up the great work! Mike Ransom, Tulsa TV Memories
"You've got some great stuff on your site! I will spend some more time there." A Burke, Burke Family Grape-Nuts Archives

"I came across your website regarding TV obscurities and I just wanted you to know that I really enjoyed the site. I am in my fifties and looking at some of the old shows brought back quite a few memories. I actually remembered quite a few of them which now leads me to believe that my mother was right about my watching way too much television back then." Steve

"And the site in general is great. I mean, we see these shows pass by us these days that don't even get picked up for an entire season, and we forget about them. Where else can we find information on shows like that from 30 years ago? It's an amazing look into the past, in the form of what networks would try, at least once." Dennis
"Great site!" JG
