Portions of this website were originally published online between 1999 and 2005 and have since been incorporated into Television Obscurities. I work hard to offer visitors a unique experience relating to television. I am focused on researching television's past and, through the use of detailed, cited articles, along with images and audiovisual material, bringing the history of television to contemporary audiences.
All images, audio and video clips, names, titles, et cetera, are, unless otherwise noted, copyright their respective copyright holders (i.e. production companies, networks, creators) and no copyright infringement is intended nor is Television Obscurities claiming the rights to any of these works. All images, audio and video clips, names, titles, et cetera are believed to fall under the "Fair Use" section of United States Copyright Law, the full text of which can be found here.
Please DO NOT COPY anything from Television Obscurities without my express permission. DO NOT LINK directly to any files; link ONLY to a specific page within our website or to the main page. Linking directly to individual files drains bandwidth and is frowned upon severely.
It is always my intent to attribute contributions (corrections, memories, etc.) to those kind enough to send them in. I occasionally take comments sent to me by e-mail and reprint them in articles. I will never use a full name, e-mail address or any private details and I will remove any comments should such removal be requested.
I respect the privacy of visitors to Television Obscurities. I have in the past and continue to utilize statistics software to determine how many people are visiting my site and what portions they are viewing the most, all very acceptable and standard practices. Visitor IP addresses and cookies are used only by this statistics software.
I do not collect information about visitors or share any information with any third parties. I do collect voluntary information through my Site Survey but this information is used only to make improvements to Television Obscurities. I do offer a discussion forum as a service to my visitors, which I will always attempt to keep moderated. Comments posted through WordPress software are also moderated. I retain the right to remove or edit any comment for any reason at any time.
I have done everything in my power to confirm that all facts presented here are verified and accurate. I will always attribute information about any given television program (minus common knowledge such as episode titles, airdates, character names, et cetera) when possible. And when possible I have double checked using more than one source. Corrections are always welcome and I strive to keep all information up-to-date and correct.
I attempt to keep Television Obscurities suitable to be read by anyone old enough to watch prime time television. However, certain aspects of the site may not be suitable for younger visitors and may contain strong language. I will always warn visitors of any section or article that I feel is unsuitable for children.
